☆ WELCOME TO HELL, YE POOR SOULS.
Magical Girl Raising Project
Graveyard

The last thing you remember is dying. Whether it's by murder or execution, that's was all it. But surprisingly enough, you wake up in the hotel room that you were assigned in, as if you had never died to begin with. However, once you walk right outside, you'll start noticing that while this is the Town A you remember, there are some slight differences that you notice.
The first thing is the fact that while you can see those who are still alive, they simply cannot see you. In fact, they pass through you, as if you were a ghost. And spoilers: you kind of are one, now. The second thing is that sometimes, if you look at a building for too long or too closely, you'll notice that it fizzles a bit, almost glitchy.
But that's completely fine, isn't it? There is, however, one more thing to keep in mind: there are voices of other people, mumuring. Of course, these other people, unlike you, don't have a complete shape; they're just a silhouette of themselves, looking like static.
However: it wouldn't be Town A without an announcement, would it? Of course not. Hence why upon rearriving, there will be a message, typed out:
- Welcome to the afterlife, everyone. This is a greeting message to introduce you to how exactly this works. You have the ability to send one message to the living a week, so choose your words wisely. Of course, there are limitations to what you can say! You cannot reveal the mastermind's true identity, even if you know it. You cannot reveal a culprit or a victim, even if you know it.
Also, all messages will be sent to all players during the trials. If there is no trial, the message shall be sent on Saturday. You may investigate as you wish. If you have any questions to ask of me, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

[If this woman sounds like she's being a little condescending, that's probably because she is.]
In any case, my theory is as such: the mirror was used to bring back Nanami-san. Since Seraphina-san was in the area - or to be more precise, the general vicinity - it's possible [emphasis on that specific word] that whoever used the mirror, most likely Tamamo-san, as she knew how to use it, also brought back Seraphina-san as well.
Which means that Tamamo-san is the most likely culprit in this case. Unless you wish to come up a theory that involves Seraphina-san? Or perhaps Joshua-kun or Zange-san? Or even Zack-kun? [She literally could care less if this girl is friends with Zack or Tamamo. She's just stating what she thinks.]

[If you're going to say that someone was tied up, you'll need some evidence to back up your case.] While it's true that she could have... would she even know how to activate it? It's not like the descriptions that the store gives comes with an instruction manual.
Unless Tamamo-san somehow explained to her every last detail on its activation? Do you think she would do that?

[Not that she isn't taking Eliza's - or rather, Dahlia's points into consideration.] And while that may be true, that all depends on whether someone played the game or not, doesn't it? And it's difficult to prove that one way or another, as someone could delete the save data.
Of course, I'm not familiar with the game; I'm more familiar with Tamamo-no-Mae's myth.

The myth...does that mirror appear in the myth, then?
no subject
Then perhaps they could be checking for that. Although I honestly think it's not smart to bring rope with them to a trial. And just because I can't prove either way doesn't necessarily mean it's relevant to this particular case. The mastermind probably knows more about the particulars, but she won't be able to answer you right now.
[For obvious reasons.] The mirror doesn't appear in Tamamo-no-Mae's myth. However, the name of it seems to be based off of the goddess of the sun and universe, Amaterasu. Which means that it might be the sacred mirror, the Yata no Kagami. The mirror itself was forged by Ishikoridome in order to lure out Amaterasu.
The myths never spoke of the mirror having any special properties, however.

[Eliza does listen intently to the story, though.] Well...the sun is kin of related to rebirth, right? So it being able to heal does kind of make sense...
no subject
[Who knows. This ghost does not; she never interferes with the mastermind's work.]
And yes, it is. Japan is known specifically as the land of the rising sun, hence why Amaterasu, who represents it, also represents creation. The sun tends to symbolize power, growth, health, passion, and the cycle of life. In alchemy, it is a symbol of origin that represents life, influence strength. Along with energy, will, being clear and self.
It has nothing to do with rebirth, but rather the life cycle.

[She blinks at the comment. Hey, the sun god in her mythology is a phoenix!] Oh...well, I guess what really matters is the truth of how often it can be used, not what it can do...since we have evidence that Nanami was attacked and then healed. And that doesn't sound like something a story would be super-specific about...
no subject
And that's true. The story didn't even talk about the mirror having special properties, so if you're just basing it off of the story alone, then you aren't going to get anywhere. What's important is who used it and how many times can a person use it.

...hopefully someone will know. Or Tamamo will be willing to explain.
