☆ WELCOME TO HELL, YE POOR SOULS.

Magical Girl Raising Project
Graveyard

The last thing you remember is dying. Whether it's by murder or execution, that's was all it. But surprisingly enough, you wake up in the hotel room that you were assigned in, as if you had never died to begin with. However, once you walk right outside, you'll start noticing that while this is the Town A you remember, there are some slight differences that you notice.

The first thing is the fact that while you can see those who are still alive, they simply cannot see you. In fact, they pass through you, as if you were a ghost. And spoilers: you kind of are one, now. The second thing is that sometimes, if you look at a building for too long or too closely, you'll notice that it fizzles a bit, almost glitchy.

But that's completely fine, isn't it? There is, however, one more thing to keep in mind: there are voices of other people, mumuring. Of course, these other people, unlike you, don't have a complete shape; they're just a silhouette of themselves, looking like static.

However: it wouldn't be Town A without an announcement, would it? Of course not. Hence why upon rearriving, there will be a message, typed out:
Welcome to the afterlife, everyone. This is a greeting message to introduce you to how exactly this works. You have the ability to send one message to the living a week, so choose your words wisely. Of course, there are limitations to what you can say! You cannot reveal the mastermind's true identity, even if you know it. You cannot reveal a culprit or a victim, even if you know it.

Also, all messages will be sent to all players during the trials. If there is no trial, the message shall be sent on Saturday. You may investigate as you wish. If you have any questions to ask of me, please leave a message and I will get back to you as soon as possible.

What do we need to find? [Eliza speaks up first, then looks kind of embarrassed. Probably because of what she and this ghost were just...let's just say talking...about.]

Wait...do you mean the current boundaries, or the expanded ones? Since new areas keep being revealed...

When I transformed into my magical girl form, I was able to move around the dolls in the dollhouse. [She blushes.] I think I scared Zack a little by doing that.

[Eliza nods.] I'll do that once I figure out how to recognize those spots. It'll have to be pretty obvious...

That'll be inconvenient if we can't go near them.

[For someone whose five-word middle finger of a note suggested that she had no interest in this case, One's been watching the whole trial raptly, even leaning forward a little bit during key testimony. She gives Hinata a full-body appraisal with her eyes. It is decidedly invasive.]

You look different. What are we supposed to do?

[She looks a little smug. Something about getting that kind of response is all too worth it.]

That should be doable, though I doubt our efforts will be met with unanimous support. [Bark bark Zange.]

I heard earlier that the network seems to be malfunctioning. What are the odds we could use that as our means?

The letters...That girl has a lot of control over how they go out.

[She seems intent on arguing that they aren't real, too. Enough people in the courtroom already doubt their veracity.

She lowers her voice.
]

You know her well enough. Do you think there's any chance she'll accommodate our efforts? Or will we have to find other means?

That's right. I'd rather not rely on her for everything, either.

[Trust issues aside, Zange seems...unstable after all this time, One thinks.]

I'm not too keen on playing nice with them, either. The reasons should be obvious. But for now, I can write something if you want while we solve this puzzle.

Just tell me what you want written. [She pauses.] If it's reasonable, I don't have a problem adding it.

It will be difficult to make them believe us. These notes are suspicious from the other side. We'll have to force their hands a bit.

Find me the next time I'm working on one. Maybe we can figure out how to do our own work.
